Maybe if we would'a been undefeated heading into the 2010 IB then yea but We'd already lost to South Carolina and LSU so no, would not trade.

I would not. The 2010 Iron Bowl was a blessing in disguise. AU received a ton of hate from across the county for a perceived "cheated" title...AU hangs on to a staff that is running them into the ground...UA got a "never again" tagline...

and UA has won 2 out of 3 with a chance at 3 out of 4.

We good.

You can't change the past and in this case even if you could, you shouldn't. The program needed that wake up call. It is what it is. Little brother got his 15 minutes of fame and the folks on that team learned a lesson on finishing.

When did you become a Bama fan if THAT was rock bottom?

Spinoff question: Would Auburn fans trade the health of the Toomer's Trees for a loss in the 2010 Iron Bowl?

Would you trade auburn's 2010 NC for a win in this year's Iron Bowl? How about last year's?

Do you see?

No way in hell. And any lingering butthurt I may have had was dissipated by bookending AU the next year.

I would not trade it. I was at the last years BCSCG and at the 210 AU/AL game. 2010 sucked chunks but it wasn't the end of the world. I think its cool that the state of Alabama has owned CFB for the last 3 years maybe 4.

I would not trade '09 or '11 for that Iron Bowl loss in 2010. Any Alabama fan who would is crazy.

It might if we hadn't bookended it with two of our own.

Nobody. Everybody knows that Iron Bowl win was a fluke anyway. Julio Jones missed nearly the entire second half with an injury after destroying Auburn's secondary for the first two quarters and Mark Barron had the torn pec muscle which greatly affected his performance in that game.

I hope that thought, as wrong and as misguided as it is, will comfort you when your team is 3-9 at the end of the game on Saturday.

"Well we might be 3-9, but at least we beat Bammer in 2010."
