I'm not here to discuss hypotheticals. A&M better tighten up. Sept. 14th is coming fast.

As lucky as LSU was for West Virginia to choke against Pittsburgh in '07.

Ohio State cheated, got caught and was punished. It was their actions not luck, that caused the sanctions.

Alabama was also lucky the SEC schedulers decided to put Florida on TAM's schedule last year.

Being the favored program by the SEC schedulers paid off big time last year for Alabama.

Alabama gets to dodge Georgia this year with another custom tailored bridge schedule just for them. Some wonder if that is just luck, or double dealing.

Yet perhaps the biggest stroke of luck for Alabama is that the fools in Columbus valued a potential Sugar Bowl win over Arkansas so highly.

I hate Bama as much as the next guy but this is just stupid.

OSU would have been beat down by Bama, UGA, A&M, LSU, UF or SC.

We've been very fortunate but our teams also worked their asses off to get there.

Sorry, the SEC would have been shut out of the BCS C.G.

It would have been the game of the century with two undefeated titans: N.D. vs Ohio St.

no. It would have been a real slobber knocker of epic proportions.

Let's be honest, the Big Ten as it stands should not be considered a BCS school. As it pertains to football, the B1G is currently on the level of Conference USA and that might be insulting to the CUSA. You think Bama's favorable schedule based on a cyclical scheduling arrangement is favoritism, it'd be no reason for a season if we only had what any of the Big Ten pukes have for a schedule this year.

totally agree, I think Bama stole some of that Irish luck or Sooner magic or something, because they are a Colt McCoy injury, a mulligan, and a bad Georgia pass away from having 0 National Championships

still only 2 SEC Championships to show too...

That's how it goes without 2007 fiasco LSU would still only have two NC in a 50 yr period and Les probably would have been run out of town after 08 and 09 following the two losses in 07 to KY and Ark along with all of his other retarded on the field coaching calls during his tenure. Thankfully for the rest of us we can rest assured that no matter how good LSU is we still have a chance with him on the sidelines.
