But you can duke it out with FL over the NC's

The poster you're replying to specifically said senior class, mentioning winning % and accomplishment. He was actually replying to me and a 2008 UF question. winning % wise I would think 2012 UA finishes highest in BCS period (they would have to lose a lot of games this year, which I doubt seriously. Regarding accomplishment, UF won ATL twice, BCS CG twice, which is why, in this regard, I think UA needs to win ATL to equal, BCS CG to better, 2008 UF Seniors.

I can see that side of the argument. To argue against it, if they only lose a game or two, they will finish with more wins and less losses, have as many NC's and a better winning %. I'm hoping another NC will take care of the argument though.

Everyone knows if LSU gets beat 9-6 in OT this year at night in tiger stadium, there is no way in hell we get the re-match.

I disagree. It is a possibility that could happen this year if there is only one undefeated team. However, I was talking about us playing twice in one season with a playoff.

Oh yeah, hands down. The down years of that UF class was 6 or 7 losses I think. The 2012 UA class has only 3 and I'd be a bit surprised if they lost 2 this year. Could be none, who knows, we'll see.

Damn, almost got taken in. 11/5/11 really does count. I need a blogosphere break before brain damage occurs. Thanks.

Okay, I have:
UF
2006 13-1 Conference Champion, BCS CG winner
2007 9-4
2008 13-1 Conference Champion, BCS CG winner
2009 13-1
=============
48-7

UA
2009 14 0 Conference Champion, BCS CG winner
2010 10 3
2011 12 1 BCS CG winner
2012 ???
=========
36 - 4

If conventional wisdom holds true, UA 2012 class has a good shot at UF 2009 class.

Those numbers are correct. Bama not playing in the SEC CG the last 2 years took away a couple of games that could have helped them surpass in win totals. Still, even without those extra games, they have a chance to surpass that Sr class in win totals, and have less losses to boot. A 12-1 season ties in wins, has less losses, same number of NC's and a higher winning percentage. A 13-1 season surpasses, likely has the same number of titles in SEC and NC play and solidifies them as the best. An undefeated season.. well... nothing needs to be said about that, should it occur.
