If depth doesn't become an issue (and I imagine it will at some point in the season), they look like they put up some yds/points. I was impressed last night.

Let's wait until they play a tough defense to see. They certainly have weapons. Too early to tell though.

I think we have above average WRs, average RBs, average OL, and an above average QB.

If Bo stays healthy and doesn't turn the ball over a gagillion times, we should be fine.

Our up-tempo pace is really gonna throw some teams for a loop this fall.

Until I see how Arkansas' defense plays this year, I would think they would present a big problem for us. At least in the short passing game.

Wallace seems to freak out when he's in pocket, and not when he's running. If he can get that arm a bit more accurate, they definitely have a solid passing game. But, I agree. we need to see them vs a better defense.

They're legit and going to improve throughout the season. Won't be an easy game for anybody IMO.

Weapons yes, but IMO they looked like shite. The Vandy CB's couldn't even keep up with Matthews nor Korse (sp?). Always 2 steps behind.

If Bo can avoid throwing a bunch of picks, they will be able to score on anyone.

Solid offense predicated on misdirection and the short passing game.

Bo Wallace isn't good enough for them to be a threat in the vertical passing game, which is a bit disappointing, because they have a top 3 SEC WR corp. The OL is pretty bad to mediocre, but could have been made to look worse by Wallace's indecisiveness.

I could see them averaging 24-28 points a game in SEC play.

Our issues are the offensive line, and we need to use our big backs in the I-formation to change things up. Wallace can't keep running as much as he did, or he might end up getting hurt.

I was asking specifically about the O. Was Vandy supposed to be that bad on D?

I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter, so maybe he turned it on late. Wallace did not impress me at all. He tried to force a lot of balls, and had several passes that could have been picks.

Perhaps it was just first game jitters.

I agree with this for the most part. Once we got our OL established last night in the 2nd half and started utilizing Treadwell our offense really clicked.

Vandy's defense was somewhat underrated. Their secondary has NFL talent in it.

Don't you know how the rant works?

Pre-game:

"Vandy is a good program with a better team and better coach and better talent than OM. Vandy to dominate."

After game:

"Well all you did was beat Vandy. Idk what the big deal is."
