I certainly disagree with posters saying he won't be any good.

There may be a huge gap in speed, quickness, and vertical leap, but Sunseri tackles better and harder and has just as good ball instincts. He was the best defensive special teams player as a freshman.

Have you seen Sunseri hit someone? Don't judge if you haven't seen.

Don't argue with physics bro. 175 pounders hit harder than 210 pounders 100% of the time.

As long as said 175 pounder plays for lsu and said 210 pounder plays for alabama

Tyran Mathieu plays with a meaner streak than Vinnie Sunseri. See, it can't really be proven.

Watch the Bama LSU game this year and you will see who has a meaner streak. Sunseri is going to kill people this year.

It's funny how I am obviously trolling right now and yet you continue to post.

Remember that time "TM7" got picked on the entire NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, also he didn't deserve to be in NY for the ceremony.

How many passes did he give up?

Personally, I see a huge gap between the talent of TM7 and VS1. As of right now, Vinnie can't even hold Tyrann's jock. There's no reason to compare the two. I mean, should I compare Erique Florence to Eric Reid?

All of this. The fact that an Auburn fan agrees with this destroys the logic that LSU fans are being homers in this thread.

No fanbases outside of the SEC even knows who Vinnie Sunseri is. I didn't even know who he was until I saw him make a tackle on kickoff coverage halfway through the season.

I too agree that it is completely dumb to think that Vinnie is on TM7's level, especially considering Vinnie has not even really had a chance to prove anything, and TM7 has had two really good years.

...I don't understand this reasoning. I could see if it were any other fan base...besides Auburn. They are our biggest rival--
would the fan be objective toward Alabama? Especially TT (just kidding TT) That's just me.

Look...as a BAMA fan...I definitley DO NOT think Vinny is as good as TM7-- not even close right now. I just think he will be a pretty good player..an Adam Archuleta type. Let's wait and see how this year plays out...and maybe we can better judge. yes?
