on the coach on the field/ getting the most out of his ability scale, are we talking Jack Hunt or Josh Johns?

Dude is a solid player. In terms of pure ability not the best you will see but he knows how to play football. He will make many a play for us this season and in the future. Probably will end up in the NFL.

He doesn't have a good vertical leap at all, so if he is put in man coverage he'll be on RBs, Mosley and Lester can cover TEs.

He's not bad in zone, and Saban is teaching him, plus he's got Lester backing him up.

He's a very good in the box safety. He'll make plays in the back field, and in terms of forcing turnovers.

Considering he'll be a true sophomore, I'm not sure how anyone can answer this, though he's obviously not terrible to log as many snaps as he did as a true freshman on the GOAT defense

He's definitely not average. Not a superstar but better than average. There will never be an average player in the secondary under Saban.

Obvious bait is obvious. Like I said, he played as a true freshman in the toughest scheme for the best defense, that should tell you all you need to know

Well on the highest stage he performed as a true freshman, while other overhyped players got exposed. vinniebadger > bunnybadger.

What I meant by that is Saban hasn't started any average players in the secondary. Sunseri is a starter. Saban wouldn't start an average player in the most important position on his defense.

i think he's better than average; he's got good football smarts being Sal Sunseri's son...and hits like a mofo.

I would compare his skills and potential to that of maybe...Adam Archuleta. Adam started out as a walk-on and LB at AZ St....

And his dad is gone so the fact that he is starting this year just shows how badly you are trolling right now.

I just realized why this topic was made.

On the TR, I made a topic asking if LSU fans agreed that we have better Safeties and they have better CBs, and, well it being the Rant most of them said they have better Safeties too, but yeah, TC said something like "I have an idea..." and posted this.

If you know anything about Saban....you know guys get playing time b/c they earned it...and not b/c their "dad was the LB coach"...
