Their best coach ever has won 4 straight against them in their own division, and now their best coach on staff went to another team in their division. I'd be pretty distraught.

Honestly, they probably don't. I'd bet the vast majority of LSU posters on this site are only old enough to have been emotionally invested in LSU post 2000 during the good years.

I love when A&M posters point out LSU's lack of success in the 90s as if you were some perennial powerhouse. LSU was busy winning Nattys in baseball during the 90s. You've lost to LSU 4 straight times during the Great Declination
