We might lose but we won't get stomped.

You could get stomped

Possible but highly unlikely. Our D is too good. Pretty much every game we've lost this year has been by single digits.

Aint much defense against a team hitting 50% of 25-30 threes

Excellent addition to the thread

Our defense has been solid all year.

I'll be here all day. How do you guys match up in the paint?

Morgan is averaging a double double in the tournament and handled Texas big ugly well. Nothing behind him.

The bottom line to this game is that if Michigan is not hitting all their outside shots, the edge goes to UT with their size inside. This is a game Michigan could've used McGary bad.

Theyre one of the worst rebounding teams in the country. We have Stokes.
He's Mr. Windex cause he cleans the glass.

Theyre going to hit 40-50 percent of their 3s like they always do.

I've been to a UM game and am surrounded by Michigan Fans/Alum, I hope Tennessee rolls UM.
UM has great guard play and rely on the 3 to open up the interior. That being said, McRae has a 7 ft. Wingspan, Barton and Richardson are both excellent defenders. IMO Tennessee presents a lot of problems for UM, esp in the paint, IF Tennessee controls the tempo, UM will lose by 10+.......
My only real concern with this game is will Cuanzo be able to keep these kids motivated and stay hot with a 5 day break. The only thing Tennessee has been good at this year and the last 3 under CCM is being very inconsistent.

3-0 vs top 25 Scoring Offenses. 2 of which have been in the tournament.
#10 - Iowa ( Who I believe Mich. got blown out by in the last game of the series)
#15 - Arkansas
#23 - Mercer

bottom line is if Michigan hits its perimeter shots, it's going to be very difficult for UT to hang. No doubt who has the advantage in the front court, but if they're not missing it's not going to matter.
UM shoots an absurd percentage from 3 pt range... if they're off, UT will likely win... if they play as they have all year, UM likely wins.
Also, Mich has players with final four experience and experience facing a grueling BIG schedule... UT has none of that.

Mercer lived and died by the 3. So did Duke.

and Michigan is a significantly better basketball team than either of those two...
BIG regular season champ with Final Four experience and unbelievable guard play.... it's going to be very tough for UT.
should be a great game.
