I was under the impression that writers could not demand acess to Petrino's text messages because he was provided a cell phone thru a inc. not owned and operated by the University.

I think the $20k is just something Long threw out there to attempt to help appease the Razorback fans (seems to have worked). Who cares that Bobby gave some chick some of his own money?
