He hates staying in the pocket. He gets jumpy and looks to scramble even when it isn't needed. Play your combo coverage, keep him in the pocket, and Alabama will be fine.
He's getting more comfortable and better in the pocket each week. I'm sure Bama will have a good plan, but nobody "owns" him.

The D front just needs to keep him in front of them. The "mush rush" will be key for us. Don't run past him and let him take off right behind you.

You better figure out how to cover the zone between the CB and the safety. Teams for the rest of the year are going to attack you there.

I think the one thing that is getting lost in this conversation is arguably the nations best/second best offensive line. This game is going to showcase the two best lines in the country.
If our line can impose its will on the front 3 or 4 of Bama, this will be a very interesting game

Funny, I feel like it plays perfectly for us. Emotional win. Team kinda beat up and worn out.
I am not going to predict an Aggie win, but let's just say that it wouldn't shock me. I see it being a 7 point game. Maybe less. Much like the Florida and LSU games for us.
I've been thinking that all year. But Saban is the best at defending dual threat QB's. Little Johnny will have to show some serious patience if he wants to compete in T-town.

Bama played its toughest game of the season last night. The rest will be a breeze.

Saban doesn't like the hurry up no huddle. It doesn't allow him to sub in and out like he wants. Creating mismatches for the offense instead of his defense
I think we surprise a lot of people and score mid to upper 20s.
Then it's up to our D to hang on to the lead late in the game (yes we will have a lead early)

Rush 3-4 only, drop the LBs. Don't get to far upfield or he will step up and scramble up the middle. It's all about contain.
Make him throw against 7 or 8 lbs and dbs combined and he will likely struggle.

I am most worried about the run D when watching bama OL seeming to impose their will against LSU last night and open up holes I didn't think were possible. Bama OL was extremely impressive.

I really think that we've improved after LSU, Florida and even Ole Miss did with the spy/contain.
We've found a way to force you to cover the corners and down field. We've opened up the run/screen game quite a bit, and most importantly, our Line has figured out Sumlin's offense. We are vastly improved on O.
Still not sure if it will be enough to beat bama though....

We have improved big since the LSU game in every way. If JFF can keep from getting hurt and we dont turnover the ball it should go to the last possession.

We pretty much stopped him. Y'all will own his arse.
Contain him. Keep him in the pocket. Don't give up space inside on the line to try to get him cuz he'll eat you up with his legs.
Keep him in the pocket, force him to beat you with his arm and your secondary will have 3-4 INTs.

I'm sure our ends will try and get upfield no deeper than him to try and contain him. If we can slow him down a bit we can force him to beat us with his arm.
I think we run the ball well on their defense. If we can I think we can score ample points on their defense.
Johnny's legs aren't what you should be worried about. Mike Evans and Swope are going to have a field day against your secondary. Your linebackers doing their thing against our running game is going to be where your execution needs to be on point all afternoon.

If TAMU pulls off this victory, the SEC will owe you a great debt.
I'm sick and tired of Alabama.

Bingo. Also the thing with J3 is that he will break your ankles on a run. I have never seen a QB stop on a dime, change direction and take off at full speed with little or no slowing down off a cut like he does. UA is good against stopping a good mobile QB, not so good against a great one. See Cam Newton. J3=Cam only he can throw the ball.
