I'm sure our ends will try and get upfield no deeper than him to try and contain him. If we can slow him down a bit we can force him to beat us with his arm.

I think we run the ball well on their defense. If we can I think we can score ample points on their defense.

You better instal some fricking afterburners in your DE's. That kid is slicker than greased pigs. He can bust out for 20-30 from damn near anywhere.

Blanket the receivers (as little cushion as you can get away with) and use your DEs to contain. Your LBs should be good enough from there. Basically, do the opposite of MSU.

He hates staying in the pocket. He gets jumpy and looks to scramble even when it isn't needed. Play your combo coverage, keep him in the pocket, and Alabama will be fine.

This is the first thread I've jumped in tonight, so congrats on the win Bama fans.

Yep he's a handful for sure. Maybe he'll pull a groin diddling one of those hotties they were posting pics of him with earlier this week.

I am going to give Sumlin some cred here. He is a good coach and if he is worth his salt he will use what LSU did to them against bama.

IMO TAMU will use a combo of option, PA and 5 wide sets to keep bama on their toes. With him J3 being as good as he is the Bama D might have to give up the spy or game plan for 5-7 yrd runs by J3. I want to see what they do. GIG'EM Bama

I think the key to the entire game is stopping the run game.

If we can run the ball (which we have some pretty damn good backs) then that's going to make things interesting.

Also our depth on D is a concern.

Our game vs LSU was just about the same as your game vs LSU just with LSU playing the role of the Aggies. We owned LSU is most categories of the game. Just not on the scoreboard.

If we limit turnovers in the game and Johnny can protect the football, then watch out.

the same way you stop any mobile qb. you keep him in the pocket with a controlled rush. sacking him wont be a priority. he makes almost all of his big plays (both run and pass) once the play disintegrates and hes out there in space. same plan as for denard robinson, although manziel is a better passer. also, you limit his opportunities by playing ball control offense. I know one thing, aTm will not be able to stop our ground game, so i figure we will ride that and eat the clock.

Who cares about how many points Johnny Football puts up? Does anybody see the aTm defense stopping the Alabama offense?

I don't think you're giving enough credit to our defense. They're not upper echelon yet but they aren't a slouch at stopping the run.

You rushed for 166 on LSU we rushed for 134.

Not saying we're going to hold you to 7 points or anything but I do believe that we can hold Bama to 21-28 points.

And I firmly believe Johnny can score about that many points on most teams in the country.

I'm waiting to see the line Vegas puts out. I think it'll be closer than you expect. Maybe Bama -7

It won't matter. Nothing matters. Alabama sold their souls and are getting the reward. The MNC will be theirs once again this year. frick the bastards, but it doesn't really matter at this point. frick that god damned POS town, school, and everything and everyone involved with it.

we rushed for 166 yards at almost 7 ypc though. for the life of me i cant figure out why we were not running it more. our backs only had 22 attempts between them. you guys averaged 3.5 ypc. LSU had 5 ypc against you, they had 2.8 ypc against us. this game really could not have worked out better for us. we beat a top 5 team, yet saban still gets the motivational benefit of almost losing and of having played like shite.

Funny, I feel like it plays perfectly for us. Emotional win. Team kinda beat up and worn out.

I am not going to predict an Aggie win, but let's just say that it wouldn't shock me. I see it being a 7 point game. Maybe less. Much like the Florida and LSU games for us.

Key for us in turnovers.

I also find it interesting how tired your team got. We ran ~97 plays today on offense. Hope yall are ready for that.

Also Kevin Damn Sumlin has 11 straight road victories. It would be poetic justice for number 12 to come against a team we share so much history with.
