Bama elite offense but I think defense will be 2013/2104 level. Bama will be in contention for the sec west title again.

This is all dependent that Hurts does the growing in the offseason he needs to do to become a complete QB. Our OL will be great and our RB will be elite. Our DL will definitely take a hit. Bama is thin there and so far we have not signed enough DL.

A super bowl win is expected. I do not think there will be a college team that can offer a challenge.

Oh wait, never mind Jeremy "Heisman" Johnson won't be at Auburn. 5-7 season looks more like it now.

If Webb comes back I expect the offense to be one of the better ones that Vandy has had based on the improvement showed in the 2nd half of the season.

Defense loses Cunningham who is irreplaceable & Adam Butler who is one of the better DL VU has had in recent years. Secondary loses are more than replaceable with younger guys on the roster and DL depth will be ok next season (2018 looks a bit scary there). Pretty tough schedule though so I could see anywhere between (5-7 to 8-4) happening.

Bama should have the best offense of the Saban era next year.

Defense won't be as good as 15 and 16. The secondary will be elite, but will be some rebuilding at LB and DL. Though Bama will still have elite 5 star players at those positions, just not experienced.

I would say 11-1 sounds about right, with another SEC Title and playoff appearance.

18(?) of 22 starters returning.

35/46 of the 2-deep returning.

Counting the punter and place kicker.

9-3 unless the coaching on offense improves and one of the freshmen QBs turn out to be good.

It can't get much worse than this year can it? I think we could have a pretty legit offense next year as lots of young talent mature another year, second year of the new staff and whatnot....but have no idea what to expect out of our defense? Anywhere from .500 to challenging for the east is possible.

7-0 through mid october with wins over alabama, @florida, and @UCLA.

Finish 8-4 with 3 losses to teams who don't make bowls.

7-5 with the defense continuing to get better and better and the offense still dependent on what sort of OLine we field ... which, who knows, it's a crap shoot with Elliott coaching the OLine.

We open on a neutral field vs NC State. We've got to go to A&M, UGA and UT but we get Kentucky, Arkansas, Florida and Clemson at home.

If State can get an average defense and get a consistent kicker then it could be a good season. If not, fighting for 6 wins again. I guess 5 in this year's case.

I expect UGA to contend for the SEC East crown next year.

Of course, we say that every year.

Im not sure at this point if I am optimistic, or broken.

Offense: The only group that I expect to see a slight decline in is at the WRs. I feel we have some that are going to do a good job stepping up but we really only have one with good experience returning. The Oline shouldn't be worse. Return top 3 running backs and our QB.

Defense: I would say a huge drop off because we lose some starters but I don't know how it could get worse. It seems the defense is a wild card most years. A lot will depend on what we do at DC.

Overall, I expect it to be a better team than last year but not sure by how much.
