I honestly think Bama had the better chance to pull it out, even with the shitty special teams.

When overtime seemed inevitable, I was not feeling too good with the way we were struggling to slow down Auburn's offense and the way our special teams unit was playing

Given the kicking situation and Alabama's terrible history in overtime I don't see it going the other way. Auburn had gotten hot on offense and we had failed to capitalize in scoring position a number of times. Maybe just me overreacting because of Foster inducing 9-6 flashbacks.

Bama would get the ball first, Auburn would've held them to a FG attempt, Foster would shank it again.
Bama would then hold Auburn to a FG attempt, which they would've made for the win.

The QB for auburn had grey mobility with his legs. Could've winded up being the difference maker for auburn if they got enough defense.

I thought bama had the advantage. They looked ready to win until Saban passed on the chip shot fg and the 4th down didn't work.

Auburn would have won. Saban knew it...... hence the long FG attempt rather than a knee.

We had two drives start inside Auburn's 35 in the 4th quarter. Came away with zero points.

I would say that in overtime, Bama would have won 70% of the time. Short field defense would be a major advantage to Bama over Auburn.

You usually need a kicker to succeed in OT. Auburn would have won regardless imho.
