Why? That series has gone Bama-Clemson-Bama-Clemson. I respect healthy elite competition

It'll be very interesting to see how Bama's plan changes after they go up 21-0 in the first quarter. Due to Tua's injury should he play the 2nd half? Tough decision.

Bama fans not living in reality, thinking they will shut out LSU, that’s idiotic.

Bama wins this game 7 or 8/10 times if Joe Brady isn't here. Much much closer to 5/10 with him being involved. I'm inclined to think he's probably the best modern-day football mind on either staff Saturday given his pedigree and the unreal transformation of LSU's offense.

I won't be surprised to see a low scoring, defensive game. Both offenses are capable of putting up a lot of points but I wouldn't be surprised to see both defenses play their best games of the year.

I agree that both defenses will play, but both teams will score points, too.

I say 28-24, either team can win.

This isn't by accident either. He also happens to be the best in the country in terms of completion pct under pressure. Pass rushes also become a lot less effective against teams running lightspeed as they get tired, which is obviously why Saban tried to get the rules changing before adapting his own offensive philosophy. Bama has a talented pass rush, but Burrow running a Brady offense happens to be a prime candidate for mitigating it.

I think Alabama will run the ball far more often than they normally do to keep Burrow off the field and to protect Tua.

I think LSU will take a shite ton of deep shots, especially early, to try and get the DBs to play off the receivers. T

LSU coaches truly believe LSU offense can dominate Alabama’s defense in the air and on the ground.

I honestly think it’s gonna be a boat race... and this place will be incredible.

I don't see that at all as much as I would love that. I think this thing is going to be both teams probably starting slow and then it turning into a trading TD's kind of game with a 35-28 kind of score.

If Tua is out or goes out, then I think LSU wins by double digits.

Alabama throwing slant TD after slant TD after slant TD..., DBU(lol) unable to do a dang thing about it....

A big part of LSU's early season struggles on defense involved Aranda mixing in unfamiliar zone schemes. The Rant bitched and bitched and bitched some more but those schemes were aimed directly at this game. Will it work? Ask me Sunday.

There were also problems with star players from a year ago inexplicably forgetting how to tackle over the off-season. That seems to be sorted out but a recurrence would guarantee a Bama win. Probably a big one.

I hope to see it pan out just as Saban hoped last year:

I hope to see LSU winning, not by an Alabama missing a field goal, I'd like to see LSU earn it. And they just might!
