My point was that while your offense is/well be talented, I still like our defense more. It's got talent, experience, and a chip on its shoulder.
Manziel will not be there to bail you out again. He's the SOLE REASON you won the last two years. A freshman is not going to come in and replicate what he did.

Manziel saved the day a lot, but he also caused a lot of the problems he had to fix. He never took check downs, would pass up on open receivers to run on his own. Our offense was top 10 with Sherman, Sumlin's offense was top 10 at houston. Our offense is top 10 with sumlin and manziel, our offense will be top 10 for the foreseeable future.
We're adding more talent than we've had, and now recruiting well on the defensive side of the ball as well.
Our defensive rank will improve by more than our offensive rank decreases. Bookmark it.
