Did he have Stanford ahead of OSU on his previous ballet?

Already been answered in the thread. He dropped them below stanford where they belong after the loss to what is now the 6-6 iowa st team. After the Va Tech loss everyone else moved up a spot.

I agree. He should have left OSU off the list completely. He must be getting soft in his old age.

It is embarrassing. It is clearly an attempt to manipulate the system.

Bama fans who defend the action are really indicating that they are ok with manipulating the system.

Stanford will beat their arse in the fiesta. It's over, even miles says bama is #2

Being in that position, why wouldn't he do that. Les would have done the same. That's the human portion of the poll...Jan 9th can't come fast enough

He wasn't alone, five other coaches voted them below Stanford too, with one having them at five.

5 out of 58...and one of those is the Stanford coach. So Saban just happens to fall into that very small minority. How convenient.

It is pathetic. Attempting to manipulate the system is not only unethical. It is pathetic.

But Miles didn't put OSU in the #4 spot.
People are saying OSU lost to a 6-6 ISU, yet Stanford got spanked at home BAD!
OSU lost on the road in double OT just after a tragedy occurred for their campus.

I feel that any high powered offense can spank Stanford just as Oregon did.

I meant if he were in Bama's position. Lobbying for the spot, all that nonsense, do what you gotta do. Where'd Gundy put Bama?

EVERY coach doesn't have a vote. There is a link to the final ballot on the first page.

Each teams wins with their BCS ranking
OSU wins:
Louisiana-Lafayette
Texas A&M
Kansas
Texas #24
Missouri
Baylor #12
Kansas St #8
Texas Tech
Oklahoma #14

Stanford wins:
San Jose St
Duke
Arizona
UCLA
Colorado
Washington St
Washington
USC
Oregon State
Cal
Notre Dame

Yes, I know... USC was a quality win, but who else? :crickets:

Exactly what I said. To Bama fans the end justifies the means.

At least you are willing to admit it. The others who pretend that he wasn't trying to manipulate the system are the most pathetic.

I could see Saban thinking a team that has the 107th ranked defense wasn't very good.

God, you're pathetic.

I'd suggest that you go to the linked chart on page one, and scroll through each team and see their votes.

Wait, nevermind. You're either too stupid to realize that their is FAR greater disparity in other teams votes, or you're just a sad little flamer.

Saban has a coat made of baby Dalmation hides.

Ad Hominem attempting to move the argument away from the fact that Saban was clearly trying to manipulate the system.

Bama fans fall into one of two categories. They either admit they don't care or, even worse, pretend that it didn't happen. You fall into the 2nd group which is clearly the most pathetic.

Yep. I have a feeling Stanford is gonna get WORKED by OSU. I have know idea why this board thinks Stanford is so good. Last year, absolutely. This year, and with all their injuries... Stanford is a shell of last year's squad.

Can you imagine the rantard meltdown if Les had voted Okie State above Stanford and it cost LSU a slot in the BCSCG??? They were ready to fire him in the first half of the SECCG for leaving JJ in at QB.
