I was born in Texas and decided my senior yr that I'd rather live in College Station than Austin. Their engineering schools were pretty much on the same level.

How did you become a fan of your team

Was born 5 minutes from campus. Mom, Dad, Sister, and some cousins are all graduates. As I am also.

We had season tickets up until I was 14. My mom kept the basketball and baseball season tickets for another 10 years.

This was around '90 that we dropped the football tickets. Good timing keeping the others really

There's a long story, but it basically boils down to not having a fandom passed onto me from parents and having UT and UK fans being their jackass selves in judging someone without a real rooting interest. Living in Nashville, Vandy was the choice. It has not always been fun, but I wouldn't change my team for anything. Sadly, I could not get into Vandy due to slacking in high school. Thus, I'm now also an Auburn fan by way of attendance.

My dad went to Tennessee, so I grew up a big Vols fan. We moved to Alabama for my dad's job at NASA, and when my sister went to college she chose Bama because she got the best scholarship from them. We went down for a few games and I actually became a Bama fan for a while in high school and strongly considered going there, but I wanted to major in Architecture. Since Auburn had arguably the best school for it in the South I decided to go to there.

My dad still pulls for Tennessee, my sister for Bama, and me for Auburn. Falls get weird around that house.

Then Bama became second favorite team after I met Coach Bryant

I was born in Lexington, Kentucky on a day some call "Independence Day." I'm still convinced the fireworks are mostly for my birthday. This is not a voluntary fricking thing. If it was my choice, wouldn't it be easier to be a fan of almost any other school? I grew up in Rupp and Commonwealth, and my earliest UK football memory was all too appropriate: Danny W throwing the TD to beat us despite 7 turnovers.

Grew up in Louisiana the 50's listening to LSU on the radio on Saturday nights. They were on TV a maximum of 3 games per year including bowl game. I remember as far back as the Billy Cannon N/C years. Have lived in Texas, Arkansas, & West Virginia but always remained a Tiger fan. Graduated from NLU since I was living in West Monroe at the time & it was much cheaper. Played 2 years before career ending knee injury. Son graduated from LSU in 2006.
I have probably attended around 100 games & seen 10 times that many on TV. Summary: LSU fan for 55+ years.

Born and raised in Texas. Transferred to A&M from NC State after my freshman year.

NC confused me, and the BBQ was terrible...

Being a graduate of a private college in MS, I was a free agent SEC fan. I've always liked Auburn from way back in the Bo days, and got the chance to play college ball with a great group of guys who played with Jason Campbell at Taylorsville. My sister married an Auburn man and he and his merry band of hardcore Auburn tailgaters welcomed me with open arms--something I've never witnessed amongst State and Ole Miss fans. When I found out that this iconic photo was taken at Auburn at my BIL's tailgate (two wayward gentlemen with whom I attended high school), my fandom was solidified:
