how did will muschamp and Kirby smart become such good friends

Watching some show on sec network where they interviewed both coaches and you could tell they really are close friends with one another. I know Kirby played safety at Georgia but didn't know if muschamp went to Georgia as well or if they had just coached together for a long time. Anybody know anything about this?

Think they were both DBs at UGA. Also think I read somewhere that Muschamp helped get Kirby a job at LSU under Saban...

Idk maybe when they played on the same football team together. Rumor is they're both close with Mike Bobo as well!

They're secretly twins separated at birth...
-Both got their first head coaching gig at 39 years old at an SEC "Big 6" school.
-Both were Saban defensive coordinator "disciples."
-For their first OC hires, they both hired washed up, overrated fatasses who somehow retained the title as a "pro-style guru."

Both coached at Valdosta St in 2000, and at LSU in 2004.

btw, can you even BEGIN to imagine the shenanigans muschamp, kirby, and bobo used to get into downtown athens in the mid-90s? Dear Lord what I would give to be a fly on the wall at a house party with those 3.
