I ripped my arm out of the socket. It hurt like a mother fricker. I imagine the hip hurt way worse.

I have a slight tingle in my arm now. I hope he doesn’t have any bad issues, not just for football purposes.

True story...my son comes into my bedroom ~2 weeks ago and said that he had dislocated his shoulder. I’m asking him WTF he did and his story made no sense. Wife walks into our room and starts giving me shite because I didn’t immediately jump up and help him.

Turns out that his humerus was broken ~3-4” below the shoulder. It was a complete break and complete bone separation. He was convinced that his shoulder was dislocated and I had no reason to doubt him. I was a few seconds from attempting to get his dislocated shoulder back into place but didn’t.

Seeing the X-ray was shocking.

You also need a compassionate provider a little Demerol and maybe some other drug cocktail which helps to decrease the muscle tone around the joint and help it slip back into place. I wasn’t there but I bet good money he got a shot of something prior to manipulation.
