Did you not watch msu last year? They really werent very good. I'd bet 50 or more other teams coulda played their pathetic schedule and came away with the same win loss record. Back to reality this year, they might win 4, probably 3 though. Houston will show mercy, 38-10 with a knee

If you would wear a respirator while cooking your crystal meth it won't make you say stuff like that, just saying...

Yeah we know. You've posted the same exact thing 4000 times. There were no gay sex references this time, so, kudos to you bro.

South Carolina was the significantly better team
Whut????
Both teams beat Fla in Gainesville
Both teams beat Georgia
Auburn destroyed SC- State lost by 3
UPig destroyed SC- State lost in double OT
SC beat Bammer at home- State lost in T-Town after burying a teammate earlier in the week
State averaged more yards per game
State was significantly better in scoring Defense
State was a better football team last year and will be again this year

South Carolina had at least 1 good win. State, well they lost to some good teams, you mutts seem to think that matters for some reason

Mississippi State barely beat Florida by 3 points. South Carolina placed a 29 point asskicking on the Gators. USC's victory was way more impressive.

Auburn destroyed South Carolina in their second meeting. They only beat South Carolina by 8 points in their first meeting at Jordan-Hare and if it wasn't Spurrier inexplicably inserting a true freshman QB into the game, who knows how the game would have went? Also, Auburn was not even close to being a national championship caliber team during their second game of the season against Mississippi State. The Auburn team that showed up against USC in the SEC championship would have killed Mississippi State.

Only legitimate advantage Mississippi State has over South Carolina. Arkansas' potent passing offense was a horrible matchup for a team like South Carolina with their secondary problems.

SC beat Bammer at home- State lost in T-Town after burying a teammate earlier in the week
SC beat Bama by 14 points and sacked McElroy nine times in that game. Mississippi State lost to Bama by 20 points. And the loss to Bama had nothing to do with Nick Bell's death. Mississippi State simply got beat up by a far better team.

Everyone (in the SEC), outside of Bama, would've gotten killed by Auburn at the end of the season. When USC had a healthy Lattimore, they could only be beaten by 2 SEC teams - Arkansas and Auburn. Both of those teams could expose their horrible secondary. We exposed it moreso the second meeting.

This. Really sucks he died but did it ever cross your mind that Nick Saban and Bama might have taken it easy on you?

Jesus your stupid- but your screen name should have warned me
State lined up and ran the ball 24 straight times in the 2nd half against Fla and made them like it. We screwed up our scoring chances- but when you just keep lining up and daring a team to stop you, and they cant- most people call that "impressive"
Also, when Fla played SC at the end of the year- they werent the same football team- you could see the season had taken it's toll
but Spurrier DID put a freshman in the game. And Auburn did win by more points. And State was also a much better team at the end of the season- they would have played Auburn a helluva lot better than SC did. Only an idiot would dispute that.
Nick Bell's death drained the team that week and we didnt play as well as we would have. I'm not saying we would have won- but we damn sure would have played better.
And if SC plays in T-Town- they dont beat Bammer either last season.
This will be settled when State beats SC in a few weeks- dont put any money on SC

Coonass legitimately thinks MSU would play Auburn close at the end of the season.

ah....so Florida is the only team who plays different the 2nd half of a season versus the first half?
......but Auburn version Week 2 = Auburn version late season....

only an idiot would take conjecture and speak of it as fact.....and then claim anyone who disagrees an idiot.

This is a dumb arguement.. the polls don't matter and neither do "what ifs"
All that matters is what happens on the field.
We will see who has the better team when USCe comes to Starkville, both teams have alot of their playmakers returning so it should be interesting. I see it as a toss up and will be a pretty close game either way.

State lost to both Bama and LSU by throwing a TON of intercetions. We held both teams out of the endzone for two quarters each. Most of Bama and LSU's points came from defense

Which is pretty funny. It'd be sweet for Ole Miss to play State close this season and make State fans sweat a game out. I wouldn't be surprised to see Nutt sneak up on 'em this year...

Who says we wouldn't? Auburn doesn't have a monopoly on improving as the season goes on. It doesn't matter. No one knows what would have happened. No one can say, "har har my team would have beaten your team if we played on a different day," or "your stupid I'd you think you'd have a chance later in the year." That's fricking stupid. The outcomes of the games were decided after the games were played.

coonass keeps pulling the whole "just wait till we play this year" as if it makes a bit of difference regarding who the better team was LAST season.......
It's actually irrelevant to the debate.

You can't argue with this, even a shitty team could have played msu's schedule from last year and had the same wins and losses. Why? Because you lost to good teams and beat shitty ones. You better start bracing yourselves for this season, you might win 4 but doubt it

What's going on with Jamal Mosely? Heard the reason he transferred form Okie State to Oxford was something about rape accusations? Didn't he get arrested in Oxford last night?
LINK
Sounds like the Peepa Hepper isn't being much of an influence to these men

¦Jamal Mosley DOB 9/30/89 Black male arrested for public drunk by Wray of OPD at 1:15 a.m. Bonded out at 8:45 a.m by Al Williams. Mosley is a member of the Ole Miss football team, and listed as a co-starter at tight end with Ferbia Allen. Mosley, a junior transfer from Northwest Community College, began his career at Oklahoma State where he left the team his sophomore season for “personal reasons.” The charge of marijuana possession during his time in Stillwater, Okla. was dropped.
Those "personal reasons" were the rape accusations
