How come so many alabama fans seem to know and care so much about kentucky basketball?

It's because they're frontrunners in sports. No real school allegiance, probably attended neither. Just chose Bama in football, Kentucky in hoops because they were winning at the time.

Alabama has the SEC’s only Final 4 this decade and the only #1 seed since Kentucky in 2015. Which means we are now the most passionate and knowledgeable basketball fans in the conference.

They probably don’t, this board is just infected with Bama fans because TideFans is absolutely terrible. 70% of Tuscaloosa is still on 56k and whoever made the server probably wanted to prioritize their 100 free hours of AOL time.

Bandwagon fans. They really have no connection to bama or ky but when they win they get to hang with the cool kids like they are actually one of them and enjoy their success as if its their own. In the down years these fanscare no where to be found. Its like they never existed

Is there something wrong with that? Most Bama fans love football and spring football. We appreciate greatness and over the years that has been Kentucky. We’re getting onboard with basketball but it still is secondary. That help clear it up for you?

It’s funny what a couple of days can do to change the attitude of a fanbase. 3 days ago the Hog fkrs were still squealing after their coach left for a lesser job at USC. Now they’re grunting about getting a coach that UK gladly drove to the airport. It’s funny now but enjoy the ride and I can’t wait til Buzz beats you hog fkrs twice next year.
