For the SEC, the Big 6 especially, Mizzou is kind of like the tits on a 90 year old woman. You know they're there but you don't really think about them.

not so much Mizzou, but the East is the Rodney Dangerfield of the SEC.

No ... ittttt's pretty-much just Mizzou.

Nice try at the deflection management though.

Do you Mizzou fans feel like you were respected in the Big 12?

In my eyes, because they backed out of a commitment to play Iowa and replaced them with Arkansas State.

Weird. That's the way I look at most of the big6.

I don't know about disrespect, but I just think that two things happened for Mizzou in 2013 that won't happen again in 2014:

1. The schedule was extremely favorable. They only played one team in the regular season who won 10 or more games. Coincidentally, that was USCe, who beat them, @ Mizzou. The next tier of "tough" teams they played was 8-4 Vandy, 8-4, Tamu, and 8-4 Georgia. Combined, those teams best victory against someone other than themselves was 9-3 LSU, who Georgia beat before the injuries started to mount. So what I'm trying to say is, the schedule was VERY WEAK.

2. Missouri was a good team last year that had a few things come together at once. A historically good DL, a Senior QB who accounted for almost 3000 total yards and 23 TD's, A running back that ran for almost 1200 yards and 16 TD, two WR that accounted for 22 TD and over 1700 yards, and a +16 turnover margin.

That's pretty much everything you could possibly have go right in a single year go right, plus a favorable schedule = 11 regular season wins. Great season.

Now they lose the two DL starters, the QB, the RB, 3 of their top WR, and they only return 4 starters on that defense that gained 32 turnovers. Add in the fact that the schedule appears to be more difficult, and that is why, anyone with an educated opinion, is thinking Mizzou MAY take a step back in 2014.

It's not disrespect.

Even after a 12-2 season in the best conference in football and a cotton bowl victory there is still no respect for mizzou. Why is this?

I guess we'll start getting more Mizzou Clones starting up since we're getting closer to football season.lol.

Anybody can have 1 good year. If Missouri consistently competes at the top of the East, they'll get plenty of respect.

killz gonna killz, rant gonna rant. But even they seem to be getting bored with it. The west is having to take up most of the slack in this thread.
