How can you trust college officials after watching the end of Miami and Duke?

That was a blatant no call that cost Duke the game. That crew should be suspended or demoted.

They should not be allowed to call another game for the rest of the year.

They will probably end up officiating the National Championship Game.

I never have "trusted" officials, so this won't change anything for me.

Did you see that missed fumble call in the OM-AU game? Probably not since Auburn is so irrelevant and no one cares about them, but it was terrible.

I was not surprised

Man, what a shitstorm. The replay crew needs to find another profession.

Officials frick up all the time, just like players and coaches do.

It's just part of sports, you just gotta try to train and monitor them as best you can.

And yet the national media is fawning all over it and has it on replay every chance they get.

Talk about a highlight reel of fricktarded, Stevie Wonder refs.

The instant replay booth must've been too busy watching porn to be bothered to actually look at the playback.

Ridiculous.

Hark back to the era of no replays and there was a mountain of calls made or not made that should have been.

Gators fans remember the "Swindle in the Swamp" which was brutal and should not have been on Zooks resume...we were plain robbed...simple as that. Multiple fumbles ruled not fumbles by ACC refs (back then the home team had opposing refs at their site)...the TV play by play and analyst both mentioned several times that the calls were bogus, but they arent going to lose their jobs and really tell you how they felt. This was 2003 I believe. Google it and you will see what Gator fans were upset by.

I think Duke should get the W in their game yesterday and the Canes should forfeit it....they should make it right, especially when bowl status is at stake....and $$.

Does the on-field crew rely on the replay official(s) too much, now? Could replay be degrading the level of on-field officiating, leaving the most important calls to just one man?

That was really a horrendously called last play.

They should be completely fired. They literally made up rules

It doesn't matter much if NCAA rules continue to not allow changes to the outcome of a game when egregious errors like that occur.
