Dak was hurt vs Arky which took away our read option threat which opens up the pass. He'll be back to LSU-A&M form vs Bama.

Will he? I wonder if he is still hurt and that is why the line keeps going up up up?

Here are some national rankings: MSU BAMA

Total defense 16 2
Passing efficiency defense 35 13
Red-zone defense 1 79
Turnover margin 60 80
Rushing 22 1
Tackles for loss 21 37
Team sacks 5 44

The average total offense ranking for the teams MSU has played is 55th and the teams Alabama has played is 65th.

Offensively we are ranked higher in almost every stat including yards per completion. It will be a battle and I hope the selection committee sees how difficult it is to compete in the SEC

Except Player A has completed half of his passes and half of his yards to a single receiver.

This game isn't even going to be enjoyable, state will have a 21 pt lead by the time the 4th quarter gets here.

So even though no team has beaten a Saban-coached Alabama team by more than 14 points, MSU is going to beat Alabama by 21 in BDS?

Yeah, you're a fricking moron.

ETA: In fact, Alabama's biggest loss at home under Saban was by 7 points against LSU in 2007. So you're even dumber than I originally thought.

I must have missed where stopping dak from rushing has nothing to do with stopping the passing

I find it funny that Bama surviving games against two one-dimensional offensive teams in Arkansas and LSU has their fans so confident against MSU.

MSU is a much more balanced team with a QB that can run and run well (which Jennings showed can hurt Bama).

LSU basically handed Bama that game with mistake after mistake (dropped balls, horrid INT), and now they are supremely confident?

Think about this. Bama did nothing on offense until Welter came in for Beckwith and somehow managed to pick up a 3rd and 18 with a run (Wetlerrific play). Outside of horrible tackling and a great play by Cooper (more the former), Bama doesn't even score a TD in regulation.

All that said, I think people are overvaluing Bama's homefield advantage this season. Yes, they beat the snot out of a mediocre A&M team, but every other game at home has been against bad competition, period and A&M beating Auburn doesn't prove they are a good team. UF is horrible on offense, and I do mean horrible, especially so with Driskel at QB.

When post the truth, and it's not in their favor....

Here you go.. More for you.

Bama had a weak secondary last year. They lost a portion of it to the NFL. LSU was expected to be WAY better than Bama.

MSU went on the road, and was more than effective. 62.5% completions, and 2 TDs.

Yeah, MSU's win over Arkansas at home was much more impressive.

How did LSU pull ahead 13-10? I can't seem to remember.

So, outside of us scoring a TD in regulation, we didn't score a TD in regulation. Great logic.

When they beat LSU later this month it won't prove anything either.

UF is horrible on offense

But pretty good on defense, and Alabama lit their defense up.

LSU's one dimensional offense scored 30 points on the "pretty good" defense. That "pretty good" defense gave up" 42 to Mizzou and 30 to Kentucky.

They had one good game against UGA and are now a pretty good defense.

wait.....so we're not supposed to be confident?

Sims hasn't done well on the road this year. He's a completely different QB at home. PREPARE YOUR TEARS.

You know every game is different and these stats don't matter a bit really. It just tells us how good you are up to this point. Your dreams die tomorrow...

Again, the best two teams Bama has played at home this season have 3 losses in the SEC each already including one in the horrid East.

If Bama had played anyone worth a damn at home, I'd see your point, but they've played horrible, horrible teams at home outside of A&M and UF, which are both mediocre teams.

MSU demolished A&M too and prior to Auburn, A&M's claim to fame this season was the opening win against a USCe team that might not even get bowl eligible.

Bama is a very good team, but I think people are simply overestimating their home vs away play to justify this game. They may very well win, but UF and A&M wins are flawed logic for that.

Against much weaker teams... Aren't most QBs better against weaker teams?

So again.. HOW can bama expect to defend against MSU's passing attack.
