I expect Bama to beat the shite out of L6U again,
with a bunch of scores from Hurts running and great
blocking up front...

What is the saddest thing about LSU and the Alabama derangement syndrome becomes blindingly clear when you check every Alabama chat board and forum ... and can't find a single post about the November LSU game. Not one...

LSU will pound Bama as bad as they did last year and the previous five times before that.

Well we have 11 in a row (1971-1981) so a few more wins would not be impossible.

But I guarantee it will be a good game.

They had a complete game except for one small area: scoring.

Last year was the perfect storm for LSU to beat Bama.

A great defense to shut down a average Bama offense.

Two great RB including one that was a all world RB and great WR.

In death valley at night.

No Les Miles.

Bama even turned the ball over on their first position and gave LSU great field position.

Yet, LSU couldn't score a single point.

If LSU couldn't beat them last year, they don't have much chance this year. You have to get a QB to beat Bama.

Most of those things could be said for the last 6 years. What "great WR" are you talking about. Having a great QB and 2 great WR's didn't help us in 2012 or 2013.

Even with Orgeron at the helm last years, the common deniminator for the past 6 years was a conservative predictable offense where the only pre-snap activity was the QB looking over at the sideline for the play in reaction to the opponents personnel packages. THAT shite is over.

Dupre was a great receiver.

Just a couple frames later shows the 3 holding penalties (uncalled of course):

Yea right. We aint loosing a game this year. Offence is better this year. And defence is almost as good. The only way we lose is if we hand it to somebody decent like LSU or Miss State or god forbid Auburn. It would take us turnimg it over 4 or 5 times. LSU better be worryed about Miss State before they start thinking about beating us. I perdict Bama 38-LSevenU 6

I will say they almost beat Bama last yr with a Purdue transfer at QB and a tight ends coach running the offense. And that was supposedly the best Bama team ever. I wouldn't say LSU is tooo far off lol

Death Valley magic is still real when it wants to be

Last year was actually Bama's largest margin of victory @LSU in recent memory, was tied going going into the 4th and felt close though.

Better LSU teams have faired worse @Bama recently.

08 @LSU: OT Bama W
09 @Bama: Bama by 2 scores but close game
10 @LSU: LSU win
11 @Bama: LSU win
12 @LSU: Last minute come from behind Bama W
13 @Bama: 21 pt bama win
14 @LSU: OT bama win
15 @Bama: Bama by 14, didn't feel close
16 @LSU: 2 score bama win, felt close

08 and 14 LSU teams were not good, both bama teams were very good. Those LSU teams had no business taking them to OT if on a nuetral field. 13 and 15 were better LSU teams, and didn't play the same @Bama

If we win @Bama the players and coaches will have really earned it. I'm rooting for them

The hold by #9 is the one that actually allowed Hurts to make the run.

I'm not trying to make excuses here, bama was better, and we were never likely going to score anyway that night, but if you watch that play there was holding

Yeah I'm only pointing it out bc JC commented that it was 3 great blocks when all 3 held on the play.

Would've still been 3-0 if called, so not a game changer.
