This. Bad teams vs Bad teams = but a game between two good teams is enjoyable.

We need to expand the tourney to 200 teams.

It's the only way to be sure.

CBB has been going downhill since that Memphis/Kansas NCG.

These notable players were drafted in the NBA from that season:

Derrick Rose
OJ Mayo
Kevin Love
Russell Westbrook
Eric Gordon
Brook Lopez
Robin Lopez
Marreese Speights
Courtney Lee
Serge Ibaka
Nicolas Batum
George Hill
Darrell Arthur
Roy Hibbert
Mario Chalmers
Ryan Anderson
DeAndre Jordan

Since that draft, the talent in CBB has been WAY down...

Basketball is still one of my favorite sports to watch but it's my third love.

The less the defender has a right to his spot, the more basketball loses its integrity.

The banging down low has ruined the game IMO.

So you hated the NBA during Shaq's entire tenure? Because Shaq would back into everyone and then the defenders would push him.

Watch a team like Butler or Creighton play, the SEC sucks. College basketball is still great to watch. Can't believe there are people that can sit and watch glorified high school baseball over CBB.

Yes. Shaq fouled on every offensive possession.

I hate the NBA period though.

Too many damn fouls.

Too much selfishness and no team loyalty in the NBA.

Too many trades.

One-and-done in college.

I can go on and on about basketball in general, just not college.

Yep, for all the media whining about college football players not getting a cut of TV money, etc., college football to the NFL definitely has the best sports model. The basketball system sucks plain an simple. The regular season is meaningless as long as you make it to the tournament. My hope is college football never evolves into anything close to college basketball.

Fair enough. I usually don't like it. Last year, however, was fun to watch for me because there were 17 fewer games and teams played their asses off.

It's amazing how much more entertaining games are when the most talented players in the world are playing at 100% effort

Very true. The NBA regular season is 50% useless.
