Outside of a couple of teams (including upperclassman heavy UF), every game I watch is filled with poor everything. The one and done is killing the sport. Am I just getting old man syndrome or is this apparent to anybody else?

Basketball is my least favorite of all the major sports. The last few seasons I've made a real effort to get in to it, but it's pretty brutal to watch when I'm not into the sport much to begin with.

It's a mix of everything, poor defense, poor technical ability, pro hops, horrible officiating, etc. Makes it tough.

Too many damn fouls.

Too much selfishness and no team loyalty in the NBA.

Too many trades.

One-and-done in college.

I can go on and on about basketball in general, just not college.

I don't think it's just the one and done rule, but yes, CBB has gotten a lot worse.

The initial downturn was during the HS-to-NBA exodus, which was only partially mitigated by the one-and-done rule. Also, the reduction of CBB scholarships from 15-12 basically changed the way teams played, so they relied on a lot of their star players instead of building up quality depth. As a result, I think this has resulted in a downturn in the quality of CBB.

The teams in the 1990s would have destroyed the current teams today.

College ball is just plain horrible. It is a mere shadow of its formal self. The NBA has completely ruined the game and the saddest part of it is that it doesn't even bother me that much. Ive become apathetic.

Honestly, College baseball could be an untapped media bonanza. The quality of play has dramatically increased over the last 15 years and with the new dead bat era and better coaching better prospects are choosing to come to school. I will be interested to see if MLB teams keep funding extensive low-A ball teams if their new partnership with the NCAA bears fruit.
