I don't think another tower would be completed on the north side as it would require demolition of the new facade.

As seen in this pic, all that would be required would be to remove part of the stands as was done before...

...and another tower box could then be constructed on top of the facade, as was done before...

...would really be a great look for Commonwealth to have two towers, and without the need for a pressbox in the new tower, UK could add even more suites than was added in the existing tower.

As it stands now, only five stadiums in the SEC have more than 100 suites...BDS, Tiger Stadium, Reynolds Razorback Stadium, Neyland Stadium, and Kyle Field.

Commonwealth could be the sixth. I don't foresee many other stadiums in the conference ever exceeding 100. Maybe Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium someday.

Neither Florida or Georgia have room to add more suites. Mizzou is a long way off. Williams-Brice has yet to break 20 suites. Both Ole Miss and State are years, maybe decades away from getting there.

So it would be a significant achievement and talking point for UK to do so.

Ole Miss just added 30 suites this year. We already had somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 suites so that puts us at around 80 or more suites.

I'm curious about he seating capacity of the suites. 8-10 doesn't compare to 28. Our founders suites are almost a 1000 sq ft and seat 28

How many are we at now? we have a renovation/addition about to get started, that will be mostly centered around premium seating and suites

Alumni Drive reopened yesterday, with the new roundabouts, and there's a video with a nice aerial of it going by the CWS. LINK

Shots from a few days ago...

It's really going to come down to the wire. Especially with those suites.

this picture would make an Ole Miss fan blush. Looks unnecessary and out of place for a football stadium. a Grand Piano? seriously?

Is that Dorsia or a football stadium?

Aggies making the inside of their stadium as nice as the inside of the Titanic.

Which is fitting because the Aggies sink to the bottom of the SEC everyyear.

So Aggies it is too close to football season to be nice anymore, but Kyle does look badass. Now Geaux ******************** and Geaux Tigers.

1000 square feet for 28 people? which no doubt includes 28 large comfortable chairs?

That sounds cramped as hell. Reminds me of college apartment parties.

Ribbon board going up in the South End Zone of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium as we speak. Suites are almost done.

The computer generated fellow behind the desk is standing in front of picture of the stadium he is currently standing in.

I believe 1000 sf that is just the indoor suite. The actual seating is big stadium chairs for 18 people outside then, as you can see in the pic, ~10 bar seats inside the glass.

Thanks for the Alumni Drive video. I'm glad they finally did something to that road as it will make a big difference in gameday logistics. It has taken on a whole new vibe on that side of the stadium.
