The fence to (try to) prevent the rushing of the field looks pretty good. But brick every 10-15 feet would be inexpensive and really look nice.

The fence is there primarily to protect the fans in the field level seats from the players who run out of bounds. It's both a legal and safety necessity.

As far as the look, that same style of fence can be found throughout the stadium and across campus...

Tiger Stadium has a walkpath on field level that allows you to access anything that you want. You literally walk in the west side and just follow the signs to your section. It is so easy even a drunk cajun can use it.

Tiger Stadium =/ Alex Box.

Everyone's least favorite end zone exterior and a great view of where the new lake will be.

But the sideline brick facades and the big A&M EZ structure look good and sorta take away from that....

It is far an away the least visible side from the ground. There are tons of buildings around it, as you can see. There is no tailgating on the south side (its the south end zone) so even the foot traffic will be very limited.

If that ends up being the worst part about our expansion, then Populous/A&M did a great job.

They're getting rid of that grass and those trees?

There won't be any left in CS.
