I'm curious how all the fans on tRant started following their teams. My dad has been a Tennessee fan his entire life so I've always been around it. When I was younger I would always sit and watch games with him but didn't really know what was going on. I just knew I liked it. Didn't start keeping up with it religiously until 2006 when I was in 5th grade, haven't missed a UT game since and don't plan on it.

Grew up a Razorback fan in Arkansas but wanted to leave the state. The final options were LSU, Alabama, & SMU.

Ended up at LSU and have bled purple and gold ever since

My dad got season tickets starting in '01 and I was in the 8th grade. We don't have the tickets anymore but there are so many great memories at some big time games.

Since a Tenn. fan started this I share this story. Matt Shaun sat a few seats away from us the year Tenn beat us 50 something to 30 something in Sanford.

I was born into it but my first memory was age 6 at legion field in Birmingham. I was standing by the fence around the field watching coach Bryant and the team come out of the tunnel. Blew my mind!

Moved to Florida in 95. Never followed CFb really was all pro ball as a kid. My mom got tickets in 97 to Uf vs FSU. Also known as the greatest game ever played in the Swamp.

The noise, the atmosphere, the absolute insanity and pure emotion. I was hooked instantly. Was no going back.

Born and raised in BR, baw. LSU Lab School graduate. On to LSU. My family has said season tickets since the 50's.

ETA:

Now I am paying for my own and really appreciate what my family has done and maintained all these years. My wife and I sat in the same seats my grandfather and grandmother sat in back in the 60's. Pretty incredible.

Since I can remember. My parents were both Auburn grads and took me to the Auburn vs LSU game and a baseball series every year. Loved it. Ended up graduating from Auburn myself

I've followed bama football since I was old enough to care about football, at about age 8. Family tradition.

I graduated from the University, which is the only way you become a real fan.
