It's just rumors but I heard there was more than one coach manhandled by players...hence 'health issues'...just rumor though, nothing more.

I've said on this board before that Percy Harvin choked Meyer.

I can't stand the fact that our stadium is off campus. Some Gamecock fans may disagree, but I have always wished it was on campus. We make the most of it and have some great tailgating, but I wished I had been able to walk out of my dorm or apartment early on and walk right to my tailgate spot.

Coach Saban went to the NFL, as ambitious college coaches do, didn't work out (as oft happens), came back to best spot available. That fixation with a certain crew on TR is bizarre. To me, it's much like Coach Spurrier.

How would it have been if back then Meyer of course left to take a year off then went to a divisional school ie: UT

I get that Meyer's exit was extremely shitty. It's just a looooooong way to fall because he gave them everything before all that.

I didn't know about the players hating him that much though. Wonder what the story is behind that.

He's too big of a pussy to do that.

If he went to UT he'd have to play UF and Bama every year instead of South Central Ohio Tech.

I don't think it was hate, he was recruiting thugs. He had an under-the-radar nickname as 'The Warden' for a reason.

Water under the bridge though. I pity the fool that puts a hand on Boom or one of his staff.

can't get enough of that gif

Yeah, and he seems happy there. I never got the sense he felt 'fulfilled' here...for whatever reason. Coach Miles, on the other hand, is happy as a clam.

The only reason I think that was though is because he was unfulfilled, you're talking about a coach who was raised on the NFL and had worked on one of the best staffs (under Belichick) before he took a major college job as a HC so he had to try the NFL out that I think is the only reason he seemed unfulfilled at LSU

I think so too, and if he would have gotten Brees like he wanted he may have stuck it out. Been interesting to see if he could have succeeded like Jimmy Johnson, or been middle of the pack like Petey. Never know.

When they beat themselves. Like the last two losses they suffered.

You know, I know, and the world knows that Nick Saban made his arse quit along with Tommy Tuberville, Gene Chizick, Philip Fulmer, Lane Kiffin, H. Nutt, Ed Orgeron and Sly Croom. HatDaddy and Merlin are the only two with the chest to face the music.

Fact.
