now THIS is going to require some real honesty

I'll start. I really f***ng hate students leaving early

I hate having a basketball team who's ceiling seems to be average.

I hate embarrassing George Wallace stand at Foster Auditorium all those years ago, still makes me cringe

I hate the million dollar bands' sinfully dull pregame and halftime shows

I hate the male cheerleaders at midfield with a microphone before every game getting the crowd to chant

I hate Meyer so much that my favorite team this year is whoever plays Meyer in the BCS CG.

I'm hoping for Saban

Embrace it. It's healthier than bourbon.

Damn Bama fan posted this exact same question an hour ago, then edited the subject to mean something entirely different. Damn you, Bama fan. Anyhow, here it is again with a subject that hopefully won't change:

The nut-grab. At least on camera. That and beating other's butts with axe handles, but I'm guessing that one died a deserved death years ago.

Other than that the only thing that bothers me is the Corps block seating at football games. I haven't been back in a long time and it took me a while to figure out what the hell was going on when I saw that huge block of khaki on TV: my first thought was "Damn! How many band members are there?" Back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth there was no such thing, and football games were about my only opportunity to meet longhaired communist (term of endearment) civilian students. Really bad idea, in my opinion.

I really, really hated the towels when they came out and for years afterwards. Seemed gay to me. But then I saw a shot from behind a FG kicker with those towels in the background and... well, I still don't like them, but they make more sense now.

That's understandable. From what I gather from UF fans Meyer kind of bailed on recruiting a couple of years before he actually left. Then the leaving, apparently, had nothing to do with so-called 'family time' and 'health issues'.

Why? Not gonna flame or anything. Genuinely curious how a man that lead your team to two national championships can garner such hate.

Yes. His last two years he checked out and our football team resembled rec prison team.

He leaves to "spend more time with his family" and then takes off after the first offer 1 year later.

Well Saban left when he said he wouldn't and then coached a team he said he wouldn't. I don't hate him. Maybe I'm alone in that though

Saban also coached his arse off at your school.

And didn't leave for "family reasons" only to take a job at another school a year later.

Saban took a job from the NFL (Much as Spurrier did) and went to a divisional school (Much as Spurrier did).

We don't have any hostilities towards the OBC.
