He beat Ole Miss just about every game he played against them, even when he was actually coaching them.

Nutt was always really good at fooling the national media. And most people who were not Arkansas fans (and even some Arkansas fans) believed the spin. Nutt just couldn't maintain the facade and things got very ugly at Ole Miss when reality set in. I have to commend Ole Miss for firing him when they did. It could have been worse.
I could see him coaching a Division II or III team. He deserves nothing more.

He nearly killed 2 SEC West programs over the course of 5 years.
People underestimate the mess he left behind in 2007 for Petrino. He left a fractured fan and booster base, and as bare a cupboard as I've ever seen. We started something like 15 true freshmen over the course of the 2008 season.
