Nutt coaching mind> Les Miles hands down.
Too bad you have to get the stars to come play for you which is what he lacks. Nutt at Bama and he'd probably win a national title. But I guess so could a lot of other guys. He wasn't but 2 plays from it at Arkansas. With all that, the guy is still an egomaniac. I would much rather throw the bank at Petrino and roll the dice. Nutt isn't amounting to shite without a team full of 5 stars. Petrino could get you wins no matter.

His record is propped up by an anomaly in Arkansas talent while he was there as well as Orgeron's ridiculously talented teams.
yeah Matt Jones and Darrell McFadden..
I remember those years.
I'm not a Nutt Fan myself, because he's one of those coaches that wants to play game manager himself instead of delegate it to a coordinator.

Im telling you if he could develop a qb he wouldnt be the joke that he is.
I'm afraid it's a bigger joke than just that. Plus there's Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vandy, and Mizzou to deal with. Besides USCe and Mizzou, he has a poor record against those teams but it can always get worse.
...but if Kentucky wants him, I'm OK with it.

Not true at all.... Nice troll though...

Yeah........no.
Actually I think if Fulmer did take the UK job, Chavis would absolutely follow him. They are very close friends and a condition Fulmer would make for taking the UK job would be the money to hire whom he wanted for assistants and Chavis would be his first phone call.
Not a stretch at all.

Let me tell you...a lot of Ole Miss fans felt the same way when Arky cut him lose (yeah, I know...he quit). I'm going to tell you basically the same things the Arky fans told us that we didn't believe.
First, I'll give you the pros:
1) He can outcoach some other coaches...not all of them mind you, but he tends to have some numbers (See Les Miles).
2) He's a decent motivator...at first.
3) He can recruit and get you a fairly highly ranked recruiting class.
Now for the Cons, which are directly tied to the above points:
1) He is so stubborn about his ability to coach, that he will continue to do the same things even if not working. He will also stick with the same coaches he is comfortable with no matter how little coaching ability they have.
2) He is able to motivate his players until they see he continues to make the same mistakes game to game or until he gets tuned out. Once that happens, he entirely loses his team.
3) He can get them to sign, but few of the highly ranked ones ever make it to school. He tends to target highly ranked players that are on or way below the bubble on actually getting into college so his recruiting rankings look good. I believe Ole Miss has 72 scholarship players on the team right now and this is entirely Nutt's fault.
Don't make the same mistake we did. Hire a young up and comer with a penchant for recruiting. Don't give this man another chance to pull the wool over the eyes of another fanbase. The Arky fans were right when they tried to tell us, and the two good seasons we had with Orgeron's players were completely negated by the absolute disasters the 2010 and 2011 seasons were.

Also have you noticed his teams have no discipline. Drug use and crime run rampant in his teams. You want a cancer then he is your man.

I've heard lots of meh names and Nutt is not one of them.

Would certainly fit Kentuckys MO with head coaching hires recently. Nutt is an unscrupulous SOB when it comes to recruiting
