Nothing sloppy about this. The NCAA is trying to prosecute a crime that wasn't a crime when it happened. They brought this thinking we'd cave and give them an easy win because of the repeat offender threat. They miscalculated big time and it's the kind of miscalculation that may well cause the entire dam to burst wide open.
