Is it for certain Austin Allen or will it be Ricky Town?
Town will be a Redshirt Freshman, Allen will be a Redshirt Jr correct?

Wouldn't surprise me if Rafe Peavey beats them both out.

Doubt that. He's been last on the depth chart.

There are four 4 star candidates...
Austin Allen - Brandon's brother. He's pretty good. Maybe even a bit better with passing mechanics than Brandon was at the same stage.
Rafe Peavy - Hotshot from Bolivar, MO. He's good but just hasn't done much. Probably should transfer to a 2nd rate program like MIzzou if he can't start.
Ty Story - Another High School phenom from a small school in Arkansas. Legendary Arm. Hasn't played yet...again...a make it or transfer candidate I suppose.
Ricky Town - The same one Bama had, then lost to USC. Now on campus in Fayetteville. I've NO idea how he'll compare but the spring should be fun.
No...its not just automatically Autin Allen's job, but he is the currect 2nd string and is ahead of the other three given knowledge of the system, etc.

If it were up to me I'd get Ty Storey the job. Dude has a pure throwing motion and can run. I don't know how good Ricky Town is but the starter is not going to be Austin Allen or Rafe Peavey.

Will be a battle between ricky town and Austin allen. I personally hope it is town as I think he has the highest upside of any QB. The only person that looks to really be out of the competition so far is Rafe Peavy

Austin's attitude is what worries me. He's not a natural leader like Brandon was.

look I used to be on the TY band wagon. then I realized that Town having his own personal QB coach since he was 4, playing in a much higher classification than TY in California (much better than what Charleston plays in because my school played against Charleston not that long ago), and he has been putting in extra work with mallett and our recievers already. I like ty, but Town is probably more ready than TY by a good bit, I expect him to beat out Rafe though.

the word is austin is more laid back, far less reserved as brandon is, and he just didn't care because he knew brandon was the guy. he cares now. the knock on brandon was he wasn't clutch. everyone always has tried to say austin was the better player and was clutch from the get go.

we've said a lot of other stupid shite too. I don't think any of us really know what Austin can do. I've seen his in game performances in college and they were lack luster to say the best though.

SEC Records last 4 years.
Mizzou: 17-15
Arkansas: 9-23

Town
With Storey make tremendous strides in the offseason

I'll be honest with my assumption. I liked brandon better. he seems to be the quicker runner, he was taller, and had more bulk to him. I've always liked brandon more.

I predict that it will be AA or Town. That really has nothing to do with my assessment of the talent of the various QBs but rather with my assessment of the way our coaching staff views things.
I think AA is the starter right now in Bielema's mind. I think that he has a very definite idea about the way that seniority works and the value of maturing players in your system to work up through the ranks.
I think this idea will be balanced by Enos wanting to get the QB with the most upside into his system the longest. I think that Enos is probably drooling over Town and his potential. That doesn't mean that Town/Enos faction doesn't eventually win out over the Bielema/AA faction, but I think we'll start with AA then seem some real back and forth through the offseason.
I think that Rafe and Ty are guys who we would see battle it out after AA has had his time under the Bielema program, but I think they're going to get lost in the shuffle with Enos pushing for Town.
I could be completely off with my reading of the behind the scenes forces at work, though.
