Well no shite LSU didn't let AU score 5 runs in the top of the first purpose, but AU did score 5 runs in the top o the first. Then LSU out scored AU 9-3 in the last 8 innings

You're right. Once LSU was competing there was nothing we could do.

I'm just glad we actually contained anfernee grier. Seemed like he hit a double or triple every time he stepped up to the plate during our 3 game series

Let me take this back to off topic....
In opelika (at least I think that's where it is)...its on the mountain or some shite...anyway, there's this place called Katie's catfish or something. I ordered a seafood platter from there...btw, don't ever do that shite in opelika. I still get nauseated when I think about the fried oysters. Anyway, on the seafood platter comes chicken fingers. That's right. fricking chicken fingers on a seafood platter. A restaurant would get burned down here if they tried that shite...but I digress....best mother fricking chicken fingers I've ever eaten. Next time any of yall up that way, get the chicken fingers from the catfish place. They good.

Hire another coach this one sucks..

Your mistake was thinking seafood would be good that far away from the coast.
Auburn/Opelika area does know how to make some damn good chicken fingers though.

Yeah my buddy warned me against it. He's from there and knew. But I was drinking heavily. Lol

Not our fault you ordered sea food that far away from the ocean and expected it to be good. That sounds like a personal problem to me, bud....
Also don't judge Alabama food based on what's in Opelika
Birmingham has become one of the best food cities in the south in recent years.
Southern Living Magazine put out an article last year with the top 100 restaurants in the south and Alabama had more restaurants than Louisiana

I have been here quite a few times over the years. Its ok. Actually Top Hat BBQ is better IMO and their catfish is also really good. Just not too crazy about that Alabama sweet BBQ.
Maybe I'll try some of the others on this list.
A uniquely Birmingham place I think is worth visiting is Mr P's Deli in Bluff Park. Try the 1/2 lb rib eye sandwich.

I grew up in Bluff Park, been to Mr. P's many many times over the years. I actually worked at another restaurant about a half mile down shades crest road for a few years when I was still in school. The one that's known for its view, you may have been there.

Context is important. And I doubted that anyone would believe that people jet into Alabama just to eat. Can't say the same about Louisiana.
