LSU spotted Auburn 5 in the 1st inning and still won. The game was practically gifted to Auburn and they somehow managed to lose.

"Spotting" runs/points is a dumb arse argument in any sport. Like you let us score 5 runs on purpose just to make it fun

Of course they didn't do it on purpose. They also didn't know that Poche would suck arse his first inning and have to be yanked after only 1 inning. You usually get at least 5 innings out of your starter and having to yank him after 1 because he gave up 5 runs isn't normal.
So LSU didn't intentionally give AU 5 runs, but giving up 5 runs isn't normal either. It was an anomaly and it still wasn't enough for Auburn to win.

Gotta go back a long way to find the last time Auburn won in Tiger Stadium. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
