Nessler gets my vote. Please, CBS, no Gus Johnson.

I will have a hard time watching the SEC on CBS when they finally put Verne out to pasture.

You will shed a tear the first time you sit through a game on CBS without hearing "WOOOOOOW!" "Oh my", or "How do...you do?" It's OK to admit it.

Gary too. They don't annoy me at all.

I like Verne and Gary, no big deal with the names etc

But I'll be fine if he goes just so the gumps can bitch and moan about Brando

Verne is my favorite sportscaster. A lot better than the shite talent (except for the Gameday crew) ESPN is putting on TV.

I like Verne, even if he does make a few mistakes. I really thought Gary was being too dramatic with all the "Zach Mettenberger/Aaron Murray dreamed about this moment..." talk in the final minutes of the game Saturday. There were a lot of guys playing their hearts out on both sides of the ball and Gary was trying to build a moment, that really didn't need to be built anymore, around two guys. There were plenty of other things to talk about, or just don't talk at all. I'm a fan of announcers that let a great game speak for itself.

Brad Nessler is fantastic, and I like Todd Blackledge pretty good, too. The Gameday guys are great, although this needs to be Corso's last year, honestly.

I don't know who was calling the South Carolina game Saturday but they really needed to shut up about Clowney. Any time he was within 10 yards of the play it was "He didn't make the tackle, but that play was all Clowney!"

I honestly can't believe the hate on here for Uncle Verne. It's like watching football with my grandfather.
Did your grandfather suck Tim Tebow's dick?

But yet they continue to let Holtz slobber through game after game.

Honestly, I really don't need information and analysis from announcers. What I like is that Verne and I have been watching games together for a long time. He's like a good guy who has had the seats next to yours for many years and you look forward to talking with during the game.

I honestly like Craig Bollerjack way better. It made the games more exciting.

I like Verne. He's fun and just adds a lot to the experience of watching the game. I am liking Danielson less and less though. I went to the Bama/A&M game and then watched the replay and it was as if he saw a different game. I don't know that he knows a single player on A&M's team not named Manziel or Evans. He's condescending as hell and wrong most of the time when he tries to talk as Mr Know it All.

Of course he really got off on the wrong foot with me when he tried to compare JFF to Ty Detmer last year. Ty Detmer? Really? Detmer wasn't even that good of a scrambler, much less a runner. A&M destroyed him in his last college game by sacking him about a dozen times and separating both of his shoulders. That would just never happen to Manziel, hell the Arkie folks acted like they won the Super Bowl because they got one sack on him.
