Come on, how can you not say you take this seriously. You need to be honest with yourself. Calling childish names, and attacking people? Don't take these messageboars so seriously cap.

Let me know if you want more, but that's just the All-SEC/players in the bigs off the top of my head. I'm sure I could find many more, not counting players at other SEC schools.

Yes I want more please. Because I can only recognize a few players off that list. If you could tell me which years they graduated HS that'd help too. Duh there is talented players from MS, but not enough to field a team each year like MSU does. And I know Jarrod Parks. I played with him all throughout HS. He did absolutely nothing before this year. I really dont mind that he went to State, especially since he's a lifelong state fan.

I'm not looking up the year every one of them graduated high school. I can tell you they all played at State or Ole Miss over the last eight seasons.

If you know Parks so well, you would know that he's battled a back injury since 2007, had back surgery and is healthy for the first time this year.

Major Leaguer Paul Maholm of the pirates is a Mississippi native and MSU alum.

Good God. I wasnt saying that MS has zero baseball talent. I was saying we dont have enough to field a good SEC baseball team year in and year out. Bianco rarely takes chances on MS guys because of the competition level. Take your new stud Hunter Renfro. I am very familiar with him and his family. I have never seen a kid hit a baseball like he did in HS. Throw in decent speed and a 97 mph fastball and whats not to like? But Bianco didnt offer him. Why? Because he never faced a decent off speed pitcher. Im not saying decent by MS HS standards. I mean an off speed pitcher who is SEC caliber. Because he never faced one, there was speculation on him being able to hit the curve. Yes he can hit a fastball 450 ft, but SEC pitchers know that and only throw him off speed stuff and he's struggled. Now he is a freshman and maybe he will learn to hit the off speed stuff, but he is not a SEC caliber player right now and thats who Bianco goes after. His fastball is extremely flat and he will never develop into a pitcher so him throwing 97 is minute.

Now Hunter went to a 3a academy, of course his competion isnt good. But Parks is from the biggest school in the State and didnt turn into a good player until his 5th year. Yes he is very good right now, but state could have used someone that good when they were finishing in the cellar for the past three years.

Southern Miss is having a solid year with tons of Mississippi talent. BA Vollmouth, Todd McInnis, Adam Doleac, Colin Cargill, etc...

As for Hunter Renfroe this season has been a learning experience and he is starting to come around.

Parks had two very good seasons injured his back his JR season had surgery last year and is back at 100% and leading the SEC in batting at .418

Look Al, I'm from ms too and I love seeing ms boys do well as much as the next guy, but is it really important enough to become a bragging point?

A lot of our big playmakers from the 08-09 football team were from OOS. Do you think that bothered me?

Just give me some boys who can win, and you can keep your peoples university, grindin, corn bread fed, missippi born and raised moral victories.

As a student, Ill admit these last two years have been awful with state winning most of the time but in all fairness, at least Oxford isnt a shite hole like Starkville. BTW Rebs are going to sweep state this weekend, swayze field is going to be rowdy.
