No. He had Bo Bahnsen as the Compliance Officer who would turn over any little issue over to the NCAA.

his whole life is big cheating lie. He built his career off the back of others work. He was a mediocre subpar coach before he came to LSU. The success he had at LSU was due to the ground work that Gerry Dinardo started. The success he is having at Alabama was started by Shula who had Alabama sitting at 9 and 0 two seasons before he was fired. Take note that he didn't do much at Michigan State or with the Miami Dolphins. It doesn't seem like Saban can build a team from ground up. Perhaps this is why he slithered out of Miami before he was fired. However there is time to prove all critics wrong. He can take a job at another university who has had limited success and build them up.
