but bo was pretty damn good in another sport that requires a good bit of athletic ability/agility/coordination completely different from football ...
And you're saying this is different from Herschel ... how exactly?

Prevent Tebow breaking his record?

This business of Bo vs Herschel is dumb. both were amongst the top athletes ever to play Any game EVER. Both should be celebrated. Frankly if you damn dawg fans want to discuss this further, then we need to meet at a bar and put some beverages between us.

It should be Bo vs Hershell bc they are the two best college players of all time. Amazing athletes and completely different people.

But hey Bo would wear Herschel out.... if the contest was to eat the food...

No Jawja fan here but he remains the single best football player I've seen in all my years. Bo was incredible and would be the second best but IMHO Herschel was by far the best ever.
Herschel was a beast on offense and is definitely number one but as far as the best I have ever seen I still say Derrick Thomas

This is truth.
But Herschel was better and everyone knows it.

Serious question, is there anything he CANT do?
Silence the voices in his head???

I'll give Bo his props, but Herschel is still doing it. Better than Bo then, completely on a different plane than Bo now.
Yeah, bad on Bo for moving on and raising a well-adjusted family rather than concentrating on himself and continually doing "LOOK AT ME! I'M RELEVANT!" stunts to remain in the spotlight to feed a needy ego.
SHAME.
ON.
HIM.

Yeah, 'cause Bo certainly wasn't an attention whore when he was in his prime, was he?
Bo wore out and moved on. More power to him.
Herschel still going strong.

Im trying my best to stay out of this...
So ill let these guys argue for me:
LINK
Bo unfortunately fell short 'cause of his own strength. If you watch his injury, you'll see his body couldnt handle his own strength. The force he generated in his leg was just too much.

Well Herschel shredded us, and Bo took himself out of a tight game vs UF because of a thigh bruise? That was his heisman year too. Bo had one good game vs UF in 4 years and he turned 20 during his freshman football season. Herschel waxed us 3 years in a row and led his team to a natty as an 18 year old. Walker was 8 months older but 2 years ahead of Bo in school. Bo was
23 when he won the heisman.
Bo was a great athlete, but Walker was the man.
