If Auburn couldn't run on a Big 12 team you better hope Coates and Williams learn how to catch or the Iron Bowl will be ugly.

Kansas St could have and should have easily won this game by 10 points or more.

Yes Auburn made mistakes, but K State made some horrible mistakes that directly cost them points. They being at home usually means they are supposed to play a little better than normal, not a lot worse by making those types of costly mistakes. I am hoping this game is our LSU game of last year where we struggled on offense but then woke up from that point forward.

I think playing away on a Thursday night against a solid team was tough, but it is going to get a lot tougher and we need to play a good bit better than this. Pretty sure this will be our worst performance of the year but even if we play 50% better the rest of the way out we will lose 3 games. We need to consistently play a lot better.

Are you really trying to argue auburn mistakes and that's why the game was so close?

Lucky? The word never gets old. I never felt like Auburn was going to lose. I was concerned but never thought that it was over. People are saying Auburn was flat, etc…but then fail to admit if K-state goes up 10 it might have lit a fire under Auburn. Football is football and the game was what it was. Auburn left more points on the field than K-state did. Auburn played a gritty team with less than their A game and won. I am thankful we are back to a point where we can beat a decent team on the road with our B game. Unlike many Aub's I have concerns about this team. Starting with the lack of a pass rush with the front 4.

Who cares what "everyone" (i.e., a scantily anemic sample of message board kids) thinks?
I guarantee you your team doesn't.
Congrats on the win--Manhattan is a tough place to play.
Enjoy your weekend.

God...how big of a homer are you? Kansas State gifted you the game and you can't admit it.

You couldn't have made your fear and disappointment any clearer if you'd actually said it word-for-word...pathetic.

Who care's what people on this site think. Let them think whatever they want. We, as football fans, did the same thing when USCe shite the bed against TAMU. But really, does it matter to you what fans may think?

I think we looked pretty bad last night. The D looked good 92% of the time. Then shite the bed on several plays. I was just happy as hell to get out of there with the W last night.

January 2, 2014 called to remind you a Big 12 team held you to less rushing yards than K-state held Auburn to last night. See you later this year.

I am glad you won, it was UGLY and I think the B12 feels emboldened by the loss, unfortunately, how it plays out in the overall rankings will be interesting to see.

y'all didn't play a solid team though, y'all played at best a average team with a old school bama kicker.

We played poorly last night. If we continue to play that way, we will have our poop pushed in several times this season.

I admit I prefer to look at stats and reality vs emotion and conjecture.

Three times more yards rushing, more total yards, equal passing yards, greater time of possession are all indicators to people who understand football that you played well. Stats don't reflect dropped touchdown passes preventing ceasing a double digit lead etc…K-state played us well but we forced mistakes and the made some to. The same can be said of Auburn. Except we won.

In typical Auburn fashion, the opposing team choked away the game. When teams play Auburn, they play poorly. When teams play Alabama, they play like their roster is full of Heisman candidates. Crazy.
