Why not there be a trophy? It's not a rival game. It's a bowl basically. It's the equivalent of early basketball season tournaments across the country that have trophies. I'm all for it.

Certainly you wouldn't put this in a trophy case next to real trophies. It's just a neutral site regular season game.

Almost all of these neutral site kickoff games have their own meaningless trophies.
