He doesn't deserve to be there, but he has 0% chance to win so it doesn't matter.

?

He doesn't, it's not a lifetime achievement award. Hell he had better stats last year and took his team to the national championship and wasn't invited then.

Question: if you gonna win the heisman, should you at least be on the first team All-SEC team?

Obviously the Heisman voters disagree.

All played 1(1.5 if you count the suspension) more game than Johnny. All were healthy throughout the entire year.

I don't know what the big deal is he prob wont win but he is going to NY for the awards, he didn't get there because of Alabama fans alone obviously there are other people who think he deserves to be there too

The only reason AJ is there is because of the team accomplishment factor just like Ken Dorsey and Danny Wuerffle

This is seriously dumb. Being a good NFL prospect and being worthy of the Heisman are 2 completely different things. Wuerffel was a hell of a college quarterback and an even greater person. He was extremely accurate and efficient and a leader...and a winner. That's why he won it, that's why AJ is being considered. It sounds like you are trying to describe Graham Harrell or that dude at Oregon State this year with video game numbers.

Regarding AJ, I realize we are all pissed off that his mom is hotter than most our wives/girlfriends, and that his girlfriend is hotter than a goddess, and he was like that guy you knew in high school that always got the best trim for being kind of a jerk. But we beat him. His senior season, we beat him. Why piss on his face while he is down? It just seems so petty. I would encourage anyone considering throwing AJ under the bus to read the story of his accident when he was a kid and what he does now for kids recovering from injuries. It changed the way I feel about him.

Fear The Thumb

Going to pretend you don't already understand why this is. Bama has won 3 of the last 4 national championships with superior defense and special teams and conservative offense that minimizes TO's. Conservative offense relies on a power running attack with timely passing. Bama does not have to rely on the passing game like the other teams associated with the other Heisman contenders on your list.

Lynch also had more rushing yards (on fewer carries) than Tre Mason. So doesn't he deserve to go to NY more than Mason?
