I made fun of a CU friend for Mascoll's University of Clemson commitment, so I hope I don't hear from him about this. It's actually two words - Tar Heel.

Harris struggled under the weight of an archaic offense at LSU, lost his confidence, crashed and burned.

With decent mentors and a dynamic offensive scheme, he might shine at UNC.

Will he be good in the Fed spread?

Will he be required to read defenses or complete a forward pass? If so then No!

IMO 90% of his problems are mental. Les had his QBs so uptight they couldn't get out of their own heads. If UNC can calm him down and just let him play football, he'll be good for them. He's definitely in a great position to win the starting job over there.

Ton of arm strength, above average speed, but lack of game IQ.

This description fits most every QB coached by Les Miles.

We all judge Brandon Harris as failing but so has most QB's under Miles.

Congrats. He struggled in the pro style offense but I think he can make an impact with the spread. Good luck .

Grad Transfers for UNC so far:

B. Harris from LSU
S. Truitt from Auburn
C. Dillard from Florida
K. Rodgers from USC (Trojans)

Still looking at a LB from USC (Gamecocks)

We went from looking at a serious rebuilding year to potentially winning our division after landing these guys. Truitt was a huge pickup after losing our top 2 RBs and top 3 WRs. Our replacement for Switzer just went down for the year so Truitt will get a lot of PT.

He reminds me some of Marquise Williams who had a lot of success in this offense.

Thought Williams was a target of Cameron before Harris.

Not sure about LSU, but I know Marquise was almost a VT Hokie. We had a commitment from Everett Golson in that class, but still recruited Quise. Fortunately for us, Quise ended up at UNC and Golson went elsewhere.

LSU went spread in 15 and he was still terrible. Go watch that Arkansas game. Guy is highly inaccurate. I think he couldn't handle the pressure. His best outings were when we were already getting skull drugged by state and against a shite team that LSU was already beating when Jennings got pulled.

Harris will serve UNC's need for an experienced QB to run Fedora's system. We have two redshirt freshman QBs (one was the Parade Magazine player of the year) who need seasoning. No one expected to lose Trubisky after this year.

Fedora will build the playbook to suit Harris' skills.

I think he could be very good at UNC in the spread.

That's his type of offense. He has elite arm strength, good size, good athleticism, and he's an intelligent kid.

I think he just panics in games, but a spread system will make him more comfortable.
