You expect too much from most of the LSU fans on this board. There are some good ones but most are weak minded trolls that can’t come up with original thoughts.

The offense has struggled with turnovers in camp and Max Johnson hasn't grasped the offense quite yet, yet still took Haynes King to the wire for the QB1 position.

Either King isn’t throwing as many ints, or Johnson starts. Haynes is a better runner with a quality arm, but Johnson can run the offense also. Makes sense.
In todays game, you really need 2 quality options, just in case.

I’m not putting any money on King starting the whole season. Jimbo stayed loyal to a kid he recruited not surprisingly. But it’s one thing picking him the starter from practice. It’s another keeping him the starter if he plays like he did last fall.
