If you gave me 6 million to sit on my arse for a few years, I would be OK with it as well.

He could just not address the media and quit on his team

To be fair Dooley made the UT players quit on him first. Our 2nd halves were almost not watchable because if we were down they know he had no answer to come back.

That sucks, yeah. But you can visibly see how hard this decision was for Foley and how highly he thinks of Muschamp
Foley would go to GOAT status if he managed to keep Champ as DC

IMO the 11 win season was an anomaly as was the 4 win season. He is a 7-9 win coach that needs to learn how to build an offense. We just cant afford to let him learn at UF any more. It is just time for a change.

was a Jordan Reed fumble at tWLOCP from going undefeated in 2012 with Jeff Driskel at QB.

I agree with you here. I dont think the spliced DNA clone of Vince Lombardi and Bear Bryant could win 11 games with JD as their starting QB.

I agree it was time for UF to cut him loose, I just think that a guy with a BCS Bowl and 11 win season on his resume in the SEC would be scooped up for a HC gig by a non-premier P5 program similar to Illinois hiring Zook.

I never thought Muschamp was the sort of person to act out in public. He's a hard-arse as a coach, but he knows his role as a public figure.

He's getting paid $6 million to go away and can be a dc anywhere he wants. Why be bitter about that?

I'm sure the money and the fact that he can get a DC job anywhere makes it easier, but I doubt he got into it for the money..

I wouldn't be stunned if a school like UVA hired him

I would be. UVA would never put up with his sideline shenanigans.
