I would have to rewatch the game but i couldve sworn that on one or two occasions they actually were not booing the player specifically..again i need to rewatch it. It could see how UF fans would think that though..like i said, just unfortunate for us

We were talking about 2009, you moron. Not just the Hebert one either, which did turn out to be legit, you moron. But throughout the game, you moron, every time Bama got into a rhythm, you moron, LSU faked injuries to slow Bama down. You moron.

I don't fault their fans for it. It was a simple mistake.

Choosing to intentionally boo athletes is never a "mistake".

When a team repeatedly fakes injuries, they deserve to be booed. It's just unfortunate that one of those turned out to be real.

As a Gator fan said, we regularly boo our own players anyway unfortunately

Actually, both of the "faked" injuries booed were real. Minter left the game, went to the locker room, and remained out of the game for the rest of the UF offensive series. Alexander broke his ankle. Don't let facts get in the way of your argument though.

any fan would think this way.

Teams and athletes never deserve to be booed.

Ehh.. I didn't check back and see which you were responding to. The point is LSU was faking injuries. That particular one wasn't fake. But LSU was faking injuries. My point is valid.

Genro - just because someone who has a penchant for posting pictures of himself with Bama bangs and ugly chicks says "LSU was faking injuries" doesn't make it so.

Bama never gets called for holding. My point is valid. See how stupid of an argument that is? Just because I said it doesn't make it true.

LSU was not faking injuries as it pertains to this game or this thread. Fla fans booed LSU players that were actually injured. Even after the first one booed left and went to the locker room (clearly injured) to be acessed and the second was being helped off the field not bearing weight on his leg clearly in agony, the classless masses of Fla fans continued to boo.

Come one, even your own fans have admitted it. It's obvious. You're too much of a homer if you don't think LSU was faking injuries.

That's different.

Of course, UF fans cheered when Prothro had his horrific injury.

Which injuries were faked Saturday? Do tell.

The two defensive guys were actually injured as I stated above. The argument that our offensive guys "faked" injuries to slow down UF is asinine. Is your argument really that LSU's lineman who went down - one with a concussion, I might add - were "faking" to slow down UF?

I was at the game and yes, that was a little classless. I can see where they thought the injuries were faked, but UF doesn't run an offense that would be hurt by faking injuries.

As for the UF fans as a whole, I don't think I've ever encountered nicer people period, much less opposing fans. They were an absolute blast. Great people, great campus, great atmosphere. I'd like to thank Florida fans that post here and tell them to pass it along to everybody else, I can't say enough about how great it was, even in a losing effort.

Dangit, you are ruining our rep. People won't be scared to go to the swamp anymore and we will have 30,000 Arkansas fans showing up looking for tickets and driving the price up.

Williford went down twice. The second one was with a concussion, and he didn't return to the game. Tough to go down "repeatedly" when you aren't in the game.
