right so you are saying its ok for your fans to be stupid rednecks?
No, already said I disagree. Just saying I thought there was more to it then just the injuries. I've been to games there where the students boo the red hat guy because it is so hot.

ButtHurtTiger lecturing other fanbases on appropriate and inappropriate behavior. Gotta love it from the most classless fanbases in the SEC.

BHT instead of HBT has a nice ring to it.

Funny coming from a Bama fan. Didn't one of your own just plead guilty to rubbing his nuts of a passed out guy's face? Or, what about the guy who poisoned a rival's tree?

He wasn't saying Alabama didn't have classless fans. He was just pointing out that LSU has its own, and that it's ridiculous to single out other fanbases for classless behavior.
Every team has shitty fans. Doesn't make it right, but it's silly to pretend it's just Florida, Alabama, or whatever.

We talked about this before and I don't agree with the booing. I think some of the booing was not only for people thinking they were intentionally slowing the game down, but people getting restless from the endless timeouts. It is bad enough sitting in the heat of the Swamp for a 3:30 CBS game, but then add on all the injury timeouts and it was getting out of hand.
^This
Couple CBS's endless TV timeouts with one player who was consistently going down the whole game only to pop right back up, and you are going to get some boos. It isn't classy, but there are around 25K students in there, a good many of whom are ripped. There will be shitheads.
We got booed at aTm this year for the same thing. I have no doubt it will happen more and in other places, especially when you have a game that is dragging on and it seems like the same person is going down every time you are driving.
It isn't classy at all, but who in this whole league has nothing but stand-up good sports in the stadium on game day? None of us. I can't imagine a friendlier game day atmosphere away than when I went to aTm earlier this year, and as I said before, they even had plenty of people booing our injuries. Like LSU, it turns out some of them were definitely real.
It happens, it's not cool, and fans around these people should tell them to knock it the hell off. On the other hand, any one that wants to act like they now have some iron clad proof that an entire fan base sucks just because of a handful of idiots is just flat wrong.

Dude just give it up, who would really boo an injury? Cheering is something else entirely, but booing an injury is plain stupid. Stop being stuck on stupid
I was there. Trust me, there were boos on two injuries, which were on back to back plays. The people booing obviously thought it was a ploy to slow down the offense's rhythm/momentum. They didn't think they were real injuries. It's the same reason why the Texas A&M fans booed our defenders when they went down.
It was idiotic of our fans to boo. But talk to the average fan at any game, at any stadium and you quickly realize how little they know about football.

LSU just has just been accused of faking injuries more than a lot of the other schools. I just googled "LSU faking injuries" and saw that similar threads have been started about fans from Oregon, Alabama, Florida, West Virginia who booed LSU for faking injuries.
So, in the same way that LSU fans are convinced that Alabama doesn't get called for holding, other fans think LSU fakes injuries. I'm not saying it's right, and clearly some of the injuries have been serious.

The only one i can think of is Matt Flynn 2007 vs Alabama, in which he caught a halfback pass and while it was clearly not an injury it was a heads up play
I get tired of the "florida fans booed us while our players were injured" threads too, but i can't think of one player who faked it this time around. Kwon Alexander broke his ankle, Minter got hurt late in the game, and PJ Lonergan has had lingering knee issues..plus a couple of players had cramps. Just an overall unfortunate combination of events. Our defense held up well in the first half but really started to tire from the offense keeping them out there and the couple of injuries to our linebackers

It seemed like we were faking injuries to slow them down, which is pretty logical considering the following:
1.) our guys were completely exhausted due to being on the field constantly (see TOP)
2.) a player went down every other play for a while it seemed like
3.) Florida's running game was really starting to get going
I don't fault their fans for it. It was a simple mistake.
